Subscription terms
At JoyWaltz Academy we offer monthly subscriptions ( “subscription”). Please review these JoyWaltz Academy subscription terms carefully and make sure you understand them before enrolling because they contain important and relevant information regarding any subscription you may purchase, including renewal and cancellation terms. Subscriptions are continuous and automatically renew unless you cancel your subscription or we otherwise terminate your account.
- By purchasing a subscription, you agree to the terms below, as well as our Terms of Service and Sale (“Terms”).
- JoyWaltz Academy Online Learning Program
- JoyWaltz Academy Learning Program Subscription
- If you choose a JoyWaltz Academy Learning Program Subscription, you will have unlimited access to the JoyWaltz Academy Learning Program platform and all of its lessons and videos.
- Your JoyWaltz Academy Learning Program monthly subscription will automatically renew on the anniversary of your initial billing date and, unless you cancel your subscription in accordance with these subscription Terms (in particular, see “JoyWaltz Academy Learning Program Subscription Cancellation Policy” below), your payment method on file will be automatically charged each month.
- JoyWaltz Academy Learning Program with Live Teacher (Premium)
- A JoyWaltz Academy Learning Program with Live Teacher (Premium) consists of access outlined in the JoyWaltz Academy Learning Program subscription along with a teacher providing live instruction & 4 lessons on a fixed date and time slot for each month.
- If you sign up for a JoyWaltz Academy Learning Program with Live Teacher (Premium), you will be immediately billed and that month’s lesson will commence on the day and time slot that you have selected. The time slot and schedule is subject to availability and booked on a first come first serve basis. .
- Your JoyWaltz Academy Learning Program with Live Teacher (Premium) monthly subscription will automatically renew on the anniversary of your initial billing date and, unless you cancel your subscription in accordance with these Subscription Terms(in particular, see see “JoyWaltz Academy Learning Program with Live Teacher (Premium) Subscription Cancellation Policy” below), your payment method on file will be automatically charged each month.
- JoyWaltz Academy Learning Program Subscription Cancellation Policy
- You may cancel your JoyWaltz Academy Learning Program subscription or JoyWaltz Academy Learning Program and Box subscription at any time, subject to the time frames below. In order to cancel your subscription, you must do one of the following: (a) log into your JoyWaltz Academy Learning Program account, click on the ‘My Subscription’ tab, and hit ‘Cancel’; OR (b) [email protected], indicate that you wish to cancel your JoyWaltz Academy Learning Program subscription, and follow the instructions.
- Cancellations must be effected prior to the billing date of the subscription renewal. Cancelling your subscription does not provide you a refund for subscription payments already processed, nor does it stop a pending charge. Once your cancellation has been confirmed, you will have access to your subscription until the end of that current billing period. Your cancellation will go into effect for the following billing cycle. There are no cancellation fees.
- JoyWaltz Academy Plan Modification
- If you choose to upgrade yourJoyWaltz Academy subscription, the difference in class credits will be added to your account immediately and your payment method on file will be automatically charged a pro-rated amount based on the number of lessons remaining in your current billing cycle. Your account will be charged for the full cost of the new upgraded plan starting with the following billing cycle and your account will reflect the modified plan subscription. For example, if you upgraded to Premium Plan and will have 2 live instruction slots for that month, you will be billed an additional of $49.50 ($99/4 x 2 lessons) .
- If you choose to downgrade your JoyWaltz Academy Premium subscription, your account will remain the same (no change to class credits, no refunds for the difference in plan costs) for the current billing cycle. Your account will be charged for the cost of the new upgraded plan starting with the following billing cycle and your account will reflect the modified plan subscription.
- JoyWaltz Academy Premium – No-Show / Makeup Class Policy
- JoyWaltz Academy does not allow make up classes for any live online classes. Since JoyWaltz Academy Live Classes are booked in advance with a live teacher’s slot, missed classes will not be eligible for a refund or for the class credit to be returned back into your monthly allotment of classes.
- JoyWaltz Academy Premium – Class Cancellation and Refund Policy
- Cancellations for booked JoyWaltz Academy Premium Classes must be made at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled class. Only for such proper cancellations, the class credit for the cancelled class will be returned back into your monthly allotment of classes. Your replacement class must be utilized within the same subscription month.
- JoyWaltz Academy Learning Program Premium Subscription Cancellation Policy
- You may cancel your JoyWaltz Academy Live Classes subscription with us at any time, subject to the time frames below. In order to cancel your subscription, you must do one of the following: (a) log into yourJoyWaltz Academy account, click on ‘My Account’ in the navigation bar, head click ‘Manage Live Classes subscription,’ in the ‘Live Classes Subscription Details’ section, and click ‘Cancelplan’; OR (b) email [email protected], indicate that you wish to cancel your Classes subscription, and
- Photography and Video Permission, Name, and Likeness Release
- All of JoyWaltz Academy/s premium lessons with a student, whether in a group or one-on-one setting, may be video and audio recorded for quality and safety assurances. JoyWaltz Academy may also photograph and/or take “screenshots” of students, and their families, participating in the Program. Such photographs and/or videos may be shared with other families enrolled in JoyWaltz Academy in a variety of ways: on the JoyWaltz Academy website, on a JoyWaltz Academy newsletter, on emails to other students enrolled in JoyWaltz Academy and/or their families, on any social media platform owned and/or maintained by JoyWaltz Academy, its affiliates, successors and assigns, among others. Any such photographs, images, audio and/or video recordings of my child (“Materials”) may be used to better communicate with students and families enrolled in JoyWaltz Academy, to illustrate the curriculum of any JoyWaltz Academy programs or to document other activities. These Materials may also be used for general marketing purposes of JoyWaltz Academy, its affiliates, successors and assigns.
- JoyWaltz Academy retains all rights, title and interest in the Materials and may use and disseminate them, at its sole discretion, in a variety of ways, without any notice to you and/or Student.
- I hereby give permission for JoyWaltz Academy, its affiliates, successors and assigns to take and record photographs, images, audio and/or videos of my child (“Materials”) and to use such Materials as described above.
- I hereby irrevocably grant to JoyWaltz Academy, its affiliates, successors and assigns, the right to distribute, transmit, publish,copy, or otherwise exploit, either in whole or in part, either digitally or in any other medium now known or later discovered, the Materials. I understand and agree that the Materials may be used without identifying me and/or my child as their subject.
- I release and discharge JoyWaltz Academy, its agents, representatives, and assignees from any claim or cause of action, now known or later discovered, for, among other things, invasion of privacy and right of publicity.
- Data Transfers
- As stated in our Privacy Policy, we may transfer your billing information to our third-party payment processors, other service providers, and certain trusted third parties.
